  • You are between 18 and 40 years old.
  • You are generally healthy with no long-term medical conditions.
  • You can do a breathing test (blowing into a tube) and follow instructions.
  • You do not have any heart, lung, nerve, or mental health condition.
  • You are not pregnant and have no ear piercings, infections, or pain near the ear.
  • You can avoid exercise, caffeine, smoking, and alcohol before the test.
