  • You are between 18 and 30 years old.
  • You are generally healthy and do not have heart, nerve, metabolic, or psychiatric conditions.
  • You do not take any regular medication that affects your heart or nervous system.
  • You do not smoke.
  • Your body mass index (BMI) is between 18 and 29.9.
  • You are not pregnant, have no metal implants in your neck, and have no history of fainting, epilepsy, or previous vagus nerve stimulation.
