- You are a woman scheduled for a planned hysterectomy (removal of the uterus).
- You are in good general health—rated as ASA grade I or II by your anesthesia team.
- Your BMI (body mass index) is under 35.
- Your hemoglobin is greater than 7 gm% (not severely anemic).
- You do not have neuromuscular disorders, uncontrolled medical conditions, or autoimmune diseases requiring immune-suppressing drugs.
