Who can take part
- You have breast cancer that has spread to other parts of the body (metastatic).
- You have at least one tumor under the skin that is between 1 and 5 centimeters (about half an inch to 2 inches).
- You are able to pause your regular cancer treatment for 1 week before and 2 weeks after the procedure.
- You are 18 years or older.
- You are not taking blood thinners, or can safely stop them for the procedure.
