Who can take part

  • You are 18 or older and have been using cocaine regularly (tested positive on a urine drug screen).
  • You are willing to come to the study for TMS sessions and urine tests, and give contact info for 2 people who can reach you.
  • If you are female and able to get pregnant, you must use birth control (like pills, IUD, or abstinence) and have a negative pregnancy test before starting.
  • You do not have other serious substance use disorders (like alcohol or opioids) needing detox, or unstable mental health conditions (like psychosis, bipolar disorder, or recent suicidal thoughts).
  • You do not have medical implants (like pacemaker, metal clips, or stimulators) or conditions that prevent MRI or TMS (like epilepsy, recent head injury, or severe heart disease).
  • You are not taking certain medications that raise seizure risk (like bupropion, clozapine, or other stimulants) within 1 week of the study.
