Who can take part
- You are a woman aged 18 or older.
- You have been diagnosed with invasive breast cancer.
- You had breast-conserving surgery or a mastectomy that also checked your lymph nodes.
- You can hold your breath for more than 30 seconds after taking a deep breath.
- You are scheduled to receive radiation to the lymph nodes, including the internal mammary nodes, using the breath-hold technique.
- You are healthy enough to have a performance score of 80 or higher on the Karnofsky scale (about 80% of normal activity).
