Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS)

This study looks at fertility in women with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) compared to women without it, to better understand how PCOS affects fertility. If you have PCOS or have normal hormones and metabolism, and you were part of a previous study called METABOPK, you may be able to join.

Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 45 years old
  • You are female
  • You were previously enrolled in the METABOPK research study
  • For the PCOS group: you have been diagnosed with PCOS using standard criteria
  • For the control group: you have normal metabolic and hormone levels
  • You do not have type 1 or type 2 diabetes, are not pregnant or in menopause, and are not taking certain medications like hormones or diabetes drugs
