Who can take part

  • Be a healthy man between 18 and 45 years old.
  • Have a healthy weight (BMI 18.5–28) and weigh at least 110 pounds (50 kg).
  • Have normal kidney function (creatinine clearance of 90 mL/min or higher).
  • Not have G6PD deficiency (a red blood cell condition).
  • Not smoke or drink alcohol regularly.
  • Be free of any major medical conditions like heart, liver, or kidney disease.
