Who can take part
- You must be between 25 and 35 years old.
- You need to be generally healthy or have a well-managed mild medical condition (ASA I or II).
- You must need surgical extraction of a lower impacted wisdom tooth (a tooth that is stuck under the gum).
- You cannot be pregnant, have epilepsy, or have a pacemaker or other active electronic implant.
- You must avoid using pain relievers or anti-inflammatory medications (like ibuprofen) for 7 days before the procedure.
- You should not have any active mouth infection, gum disease, or be having your period on the day of saliva sampling.
