Who can take part

  • You are scheduled for laparoscopic cholecystectomy (minimally invasive gallbladder removal), not an emergency surgery
  • Your body mass index (BMI) is between 18 and 40 kg/m²
  • You are in generally good to moderate health (ASA category 1, 2, or 3)
  • You have not had general anesthesia in the past 7 days
  • You do not have serious neurological conditions, severe organ disease, or long-term use of opioids or sedatives
  • You are fluent in Turkish and able to communicate with the research team
