Who can take part

  • You must be 18 years or older
  • You are in your second or third trimester of pregnancy (weeks 14 and beyond)
  • The heart signal recording lasts at least 5 minutes
  • You are carrying only one baby (not twins or multiples)
  • You do not have a severe pregnancy complication like severe high blood pressure with seizures, shock, or organ failure
  • Your baby does not have a life-threatening condition like severe lack of oxygen or severe placental problems
