Who can take part
- Age 18–80 years
- Confirmed gallstones on imaging (ultrasound, CT, or similar) with at least one stone 1 cm or larger
- History of right upper belly pain or discomfort related to gallstones
- Gallbladder working reasonably well (ejection fraction ≥30%, meaning it contracts when needed)
- No recent severe infection, gallbladder rupture, or suspected cancer
- Willing to keep your gallbladder rather than have it surgically removed
