Virtual Reality Movement Training for Parkinson's Disease

Who can take part

  • You are between 45 and 80 years old
  • You have been diagnosed with idiopathic Parkinson's disease (early to moderate stage, Hoehn & Yahr stages I–III)
  • Your Parkinson's medication is stable and working well for you right now
  • You have normal or near-normal memory and thinking skills (no advanced dementia)
  • You don't have serious vision, hearing, or movement problems unrelated to Parkinson's
  • You are able and willing to use virtual reality equipment for rehabilitation sessions
