Exercise Plus Brain Stimulation for Parkinson's Disease

Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with idiopathic Parkinson's disease (the most common type, not caused by another condition)
  • Your Parkinson's medications have been stable for at least several weeks before starting the study
  • You are able to understand study instructions and follow them
  • You do not have serious heart problems, including pacemakers or uncontrolled blood pressure drops when standing
  • You have not had a stroke, seizures, or major leg/hip surgery that affects your ability to walk
  • You do not have a deep brain stimulation device or other implanted electronics incompatible with brain stimulation
