  • Be between 18 and 55 years old and in good health
  • Be of first-generation Japanese or Chinese descent, born in Japan or China
  • Weigh between 40 and 100 kg (88–220 pounds) with a healthy BMI (roughly 18–32)
  • Not smoke, vape, or use tobacco heavily in the past 2 years
  • Not abuse alcohol or illicit drugs
  • Not be pregnant, nursing, or planning to become pregnant during the study
