- You are at least 18 years old
- You have reliable access to a phone or internet for a counseling session
- You have low or moderate-level substance use concerns (not high-risk or severe use)
- You are not currently pregnant
- You speak English
- You are not in prison and will not be hospitalized after your ED visit
