Who can take part
- Received at least 45 Gray of radiation to the abdomen (a high cumulative dose)
- Age 18 or older
- Able to perform light daily activities with some help (Karnofsky score above 60)
- Expected to live at least 6 more months
- No previous abdominal radiation therapy
- Willing and able to provide blood and urine samples
