Who can take part

  • You have adenocarcinoma (a common type of colon cancer) in the right, left, sigmoid, or recto-sigmoid area of your colon
  • Your cancer is locally advanced (stage T3 or T4a/b), meaning it has grown through the colon wall or into nearby structures
  • You have not had evidence of cancer spreading throughout your belly (carcinomatosis) or to distant organs
  • Your cancer can be surgically removed, based on imaging and the surgeon's assessment
  • You are 18 years or older and willing to sign consent for surgery
