  • You have been diagnosed with stage II or III rectal cancer that has not spread to other parts of your body.
  • You are over 18 years old and healthy enough to have surgery (your doctor will assess this).
  • You have not had another cancer or a serious medical condition in the last 3 years that would affect the study.
  • You have complete medical records, including CT and MRI scans.
