  • You have been diagnosed with cancer that requires planned surgery to remove it
  • You are able to walk, with or without a cane, walker, or other aid
  • You can understand and agree to participate in the study
  • Your surgery is scheduled in advance (not an emergency)
  • You do not have a serious medical condition that makes exercise unsafe
