Who can take part

  • Your child has a broken radius and/or ulna bone (forearm) that needs surgery to fix
  • The break is significantly shifted out of place (more than halfway across the bone width) or bent at an angle greater than 10 degrees, even after doctors tried to straighten it without surgery
  • The fracture happened within the last 2 weeks
  • Your child can attend all follow-up visits for several months
  • The break is not part of a more complex injury (like a dislocated wrist or elbow, or multiple fracture pieces)
