Who can take part
- You must be 18 years old or older.
- You must be on peritoneal dialysis (dialysis using the lining of your belly).
- You must be seen at Mackay Memorial Hospital's outpatient clinic.
- You must already be taking darbepoetin alfa (a medicine to help your body make red blood cells).
- You cannot have had a heart attack, stroke, or other serious heart or blood vessel problem in the past 3 months.
- You cannot have had stomach or intestinal bleeding in the past 3 months, or have active cancer.
