Who can take part
- You are a woman between 18 and 65 years old
- You are scheduled for elective (planned) unilateral breast surgery—either a mastectomy alone or with lymph node removal
- Your BMI is between 18 and 35 kg/m² (a measure of body weight relative to height)
- You are in good enough overall health for surgery (ASA status I–III; your doctor can confirm this)
- You can understand the study, sign consent, and cooperate with the research team
- You do not have an active infection, allergy to local anesthetics, blood-clotting problems, or chronic opioid use
