Virtual Reality Program for Palliative Care Patients

Who can take part

  • You are at least 18 years old and currently hospitalized in the palliative care unit at Strasbourg Hospital
  • Your doctors estimate you have at least one month of life expectancy based on your current health
  • You score 26 or higher on a brief thinking and memory test (Montreal Cognitive Assessment)
  • You can tolerate virtual reality without significant discomfort after a short practice session
  • You do not have uncontrolled epilepsy or severe vision/hearing problems that would prevent using VR
  • You are affiliated with French Social Security or similar health protection system
