Who can take part

  • You are between 7 and 12 years old and a Hong Kong Chinese schoolchild
  • Your myopia (nearsightedness) ranges from -0.75 to -5.00 diopters in both eyes, with minimal astigmatism or eye imbalance
  • Your eyes have shown clear myopia progression recently (worsening by at least 0.50 diopters per year)
  • Your eyes are healthy with no prior injury, surgery, or eye disease, and your overall health doesn't affect your vision
  • You have never used myopia control treatments (atropine, ortho-k, red-light therapy, special lenses, or supplements)
  • You can commit to wearing contact lenses at least 10 hours daily, 6+ days per week for 2 years, and attend all study visits
