- You are aged 20–40 or 60–69 years old
- You have Filipino heritage from both your mother's and father's sides
- You are in good overall health with no heart disease, lung disease, diabetes, or thyroid problems
- You can walk or run on a treadmill and ride a stationary bike
- A doctor has cleared you for exercise testing (older adults need an ECG heart test first)
- You have no metal implants, pacemakers, or recent injuries in the past 3 months
