Who can take part
- You have a scar that has been present for at least 3 months and needs treatment
- You are at least 12 years old (parents/guardians must consent for those under 18)
- Your scar is not actively infected, ulcerated, or cancerous
- You are generally healthy with stable vital signs and can tolerate the treatment
- You have not had other scar treatments (laser, injections, or surgery) on this scar within the last 3 months
- You are not pregnant, breastfeeding, or living with HIV/AIDS
