Who can take part

  • You have a chronic wound or ulcer that has lasted more than 4 weeks
  • Your wound is between 5 and 100 cm² in size (roughly the size of a postage stamp to a greeting card)
  • Your wound comes from poor circulation (arterial or venous origin), not from cancer or other causes
  • Your wound has less than 30% dead tissue (necrosis)
  • You are at least 18 years old and can provide written consent
  • You do not have severe heart, kidney, or liver disease, and are not on dialysis
