Brain Stimulation to Improve Language Skills

Healthy Adult Participants

This study tests whether a non-invasive brain stimulation technique called transcranial random noise stimulation can help improve how quickly and accurately you perform language tasks. Researchers will measure your performance on language exercises before and after the stimulation.

Who can take part

  • You are between 18–35 years old or 60–90 years old
  • French is your native language
  • You are right-handed
  • You have normal or corrected vision and hearing (glasses or contacts are fine)
  • You have no history of epilepsy, severe migraines, or brain surgery
  • You do not take benzodiazepines, antipsychotic medications, or other psychoactive drugs regularly
