This study tests whether a medication called amitriptyline can help reduce belly pain and bowel problems in people whose Crohn's disease is well-controlled. Amitriptyline is an older antidepressant that may help with pain and bowel symptoms even when inflammation is quiet.

Who can take part
- You are 18–65 years old
- You have been diagnosed with Crohn's disease and it has been quiet (in remission) for at least 3 months
- You have IBS-like symptoms: belly pain at least 3 days per month and irregular bowel movements, even though your Crohn's is controlled
- Your heart is healthy, with a normal ECG and no rhythm problems in the past year
- You have been on stable Crohn's medications (biologics, immunomodulators, or other treatments) for at least 3 months with no planned changes
- You are willing to start and adjust amitriptyline (a tricyclic antidepressant) from 10 mg up to 50 mg as you tolerate it
