Who can take part
- You have metastatic colorectal cancer (cancer that has spread beyond the colon or rectum) that cannot be surgically removed
- Your cancer has been confirmed by biopsy or tissue sample
- You have at least one measurable tumor (at least 10mm) visible on CT or MRI scan done within 28 days of starting the trial
- You are starting chemotherapy for the first time for metastatic disease
- You are in good enough health to tolerate treatment (normal blood work, kidney, liver, and clotting function)
- You have no cancer in your brain and no other active cancers (except skin cancer or past cancers treated more than 3 years ago)
