Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with first-episode schizophrenia (your first major psychotic episode) within the last 5 years
  • You are between 16 and 45 years old
  • You completed at least 9 years of formal education
  • Your antipsychotic medication dose has been stable for at least 6 weeks, and your symptoms have been generally stable for 1 month
  • You have significant negative symptoms (reduced emotion, motivation, or speech), confirmed by a specific symptom rating scale
  • You are willing to provide informed consent, with a parent or guardian's agreement if you are under 18
