Who can take part

  • You are at least 18 years old at the time of surgery
  • You have one or more kidney stones in one ureter (the tube from your kidney to bladder) confirmed by imaging
  • Your doctors plan to use a camera inserted through your urethra (ureteroscopy) to remove the stone as the first treatment
  • You have a high-quality CT scan with thin slices (≤ 1.25 mm) taken before surgery at this hospital, in a format that allows detailed analysis
  • Your medical records are complete with your background information and detailed notes about what happened during surgery
