Who can take part

  • You are currently receiving occupational therapy (physical rehabilitation services) at the hospital
  • Your arm or hand weakness has been present for more than 3 months
  • You have difficulty holding or using a smartphone because of your arm or hand weakness
  • You can understand and follow instructions for using the device
  • You score above 24 on a brief memory and thinking test (Montreal Cognitive Assessment)
  • You are 18 years or older
  • You do not have severe vision or hearing problems that would prevent you from using a smartphone
  • You are in stable health with no serious medical conditions that would make participation unsafe
