Who can take part
- Your child is between 2 months and 59 months old (under 5 years)
- Your child is currently hospitalized with respiratory symptoms that started within the last 14 days
- Your child has at least one of these symptoms: cough, runny nose, nasal congestion, sore throat, fast breathing, wheezing, or chest retractions
- You are the parent or legal guardian and can provide written consent
- Your child has not had a confirmed pneumococcal infection in the past 30 days
