Who can take part

  • Age 18–65 years old
  • Spinal cord injury (either from trauma or non-traumatic cause) above the sacral region
  • Confirmed overactive bladder (detrusor overactivity) diagnosed by urodynamic testing
  • On stable bladder medications (anticholinergic and/or sympathomimetic drugs) for at least 3 months with no recent dose changes
  • No cardiac pacemaker, epilepsy, or metal implants near the treatment area (lower back)
  • No recent bladder Botox injections, neuromodulation treatments, or bladder surgery in the past 6 months
