Balance Board Training for Children with Cognitive and Motor Delays

Who can take part

  • Your child is between 6 and 10 years old
  • Your child has mild to moderate cognitive impairment (scored 18–25 on a thinking skills test)
  • Your child has delays in gross motor skills (how they move their whole body, like walking or running)
  • Your child can understand and follow spoken instructions
  • You are able and willing to make sure your child attends all training sessions
  • Your child is not currently taking medications that affect movement or the nervous system
