Who can take part

  • You have a burn injury that needs a skin graft (moving healthy skin from one part of your body to cover the burn)
  • Your burn covers less than 30% of your total body surface area
  • You are between 18 and 65 years old
  • You have never donated skin from this area before, and the skin to be grafted is medium thickness (about 0.4 mm)
  • You are willing to have regular follow-up visits after surgery to check your healing
  • You do not have severe kidney, liver, heart, or lung disease, and your blood pressure and blood sugar are controlled
