Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older
- You have been admitted to forensic psychiatric care (mental health treatment within the criminal justice system) in Italy or California
- You have a diagnosed mental health disorder recognized by DSM-5 or ICD standards
- You have or have had a substance use disorder (addiction to drugs or alcohol)
- You can provide written consent yourself, or a legal guardian can provide it for you
- You are able to participate in follow-up meetings at 12, 24, and 36 months after enrollment
