Who can take part

  • Your child is between 8 and 15 years old
  • Your child plays basketball at least twice a week (outside of school gym class) or for at least 3 hours per week
  • Your child has no current ankle, foot, or leg injuries or problems
  • Your child is not recovering from any illness that affects physical activity
  • Your child has no balance problems due to inner ear, brain, or coordination issues
  • Your child can follow the study's specific warm-up instructions
