Blood Flow Restriction Training for Knee Osteoarthritis

Who can take part

  • You are 40 years or older
  • You have been diagnosed with osteoarthritis (wear-and-tear arthritis) in one knee, confirmed by imaging
  • You can commit to attending 3 supervised exercise sessions per week for 8 consecutive weeks
  • You have not had any injections into your knee joint in the past 3 months
  • You do not have serious circulation problems, active cancer, infections, or open wounds in your legs
  • Your heart, nervous system, and mental health are stable enough to safely exercise
