Who can take part

  • Diagnosed with prostate cancer that has spread to bones or distant lymph nodes
  • Either carry a BRCA gene mutation OR have prostate cancer with neuroendocrine differentiation (specific cell changes visible under a microscope)
  • Have recently started hormone therapy (ADT and ARPI drugs) but not for more than 3 months before entering the trial
  • Never had chemotherapy for prostate cancer before, and no prior carboplatin or platinum-based drugs
  • Good overall health (ECOG performance status 0–1, or 2 if caused by cancer), with normal or near-normal blood counts and kidney/liver function
  • Age 18–80 years old and able to take pills by mouth
