  • Diagnosed with skin cancer being treated with Mohs micrographic surgery (MMS)
  • Surgical wound can be closed with a straight line or flap (tissue moved from nearby area)
  • Able to speak English and understand the study
  • Not pregnant, not taking isotretinoin (Accutane), no recent radiation to the surgical area
  • No history of abnormal wound healing like keloids, active infection, or severe immune problems
