Who can take part

  • You have raised, thickened scars from a burn injury.
  • You are between 18 and 89 years old.
  • If you could become pregnant, you must use reliable birth control and not be pregnant.
  • You have not had laser treatments or steroid/5-FU injections for these scars before.
  • You are not currently taking oral steroids, immunosuppressants, or oral retinoids like Accutane.
  • You do not have active infections, cancer, DPD deficiency, or connective tissue disease.
