Who can take part
- You are a woman between 20 and 50 years old.
- You have been diagnosed with granulomatous lobular mastitis (a type of non-breastfeeding breast inflammation) and have not breastfed for at least 6 months.
- Your condition is moderate to severe (scored at least 2 on a special activity scale).
- You have tried steroids but they did not work, or you could not tolerate them.
- Your inflammation affects only one breast and has not spread to the other breast within the past 6 months.
- You do not have active infections (like hepatitis, HIV, or tuberculosis), certain cancers, or other serious health problems.
- You weigh less than 100 kg (about 220 lbs).
