Who can take part
- You must see a doctor (general practitioner or pediatrician) who is part of the Sentinelles surveillance network in France
- You have a sudden respiratory infection with fever or feeling feverish plus respiratory symptoms (cough, sore throat, congestion, etc.)
- You are seen between late September and mid-April each year
- You can give oral (spoken) permission to participate, or a parent/guardian can consent on your behalf if you are a minor
- You are able to receive and understand information about the study
