Who can take part
- You must be 40 years of age or older.
- You need a confirmed diagnosis of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) from your doctor.
- Your lung function should be at least moderate — meaning your breathing tests (FVC and DLCO) are within certain ranges.
- You can be on a stable anti-fibrotic medication (like nintedanib or pirfenidone) for at least 12 weeks, or you may not be on any anti-fibrotic treatment — but you cannot take both at the same time.
- You must not have had a sudden worsening of your IPF in the last 3 months.
- You must not have certain other serious health conditions, recent infections, or a history of certain cancers.
