Ultrasound imaging methods for detecting cancer return after liver surgery

Who can take part

  • You are at least 18 years old
  • You previously had liver cancer surgery or ablation (heat treatment to destroy the cancer)
  • You now have a newly developed spot or lesion in your liver
  • You had a complete contrast-enhanced ultrasound scan (ultrasound with special dye injected) within the past two weeks, with good-quality images saved
  • Your new liver lesion has a clear diagnosis from a biopsy (tissue sample) or imaging findings
