First-Trimester Ultrasound Screening Study

Who can take part

  • You are currently pregnant with one baby (not twins or multiples)
  • Your pregnancy is between 11 weeks and 13 weeks plus 6 days along
  • Your baby has a heartbeat (confirmed as a live pregnancy)
  • You are scheduled for or willing to have a first-trimester ultrasound scan
  • Your pregnancy has not had unexplained miscarriage or fetal loss
  • You do not have serious pregnancy complications (such as preeclampsia, gestational diabetes, or placental problems)
