Who can take part
- Diagnosed with erectile dysfunction for at least 3 months, confirmed by a standard questionnaire (IIEF)
- Tried Viagra or similar pills without success—couldn't get firm enough erections for sex
- In a steady heterosexual relationship for at least 6 months
- Willing to use the study medication as directed and take Viagra during the trial
- No severe heart conditions, recent heart attack or stroke, or spinal cord injury
- Not taking nitrate medications, testosterone, or certain other drugs
